National Recognition

With the coming of National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), the college applied for recognition and was duly granted by the Council w.e.f 1995 which continues to act as a shot in the arm for the college as it is only one of the three colleges in North Bengal to receive this honour.

Apart from being directly administered by the University of North Bengal the college is also included under sections 2(f) and 12 B of the University Grants Commission (UGC). The college has been assessed and accreditated by National Assessment and Accreditation Council of India (NAAC) and has been awarded a 'B' Grade (71%).
